Comments on my first task

I did my preliminary task with Jess which i felt overall went quite well. The steadiness of the film was was good all the way through which was with the help of the tripod. I feel the framing was very good. For instance with the scene where the girls are speaking to each other we give them both equal amounts of the screen by using the over the should and 180 degree rule.
Then with the editing and transisitions we were very careful by not adding in any extra transitions so we only used them at the beginging and end to show a change of time. We also used a shot reverse shot to show that they were having a conversation. But probably our biggest problem was the sound because it was not fully clear and you could hear some ppl who were walking past which was a real problem. But the titles were a good choice by giving a clue of what our task was going to be about.
The mise-en-scene i again was proud of because the scene actualy looked like it could of happened and that it was staged. But again the only problem was that it was hard to shoot the task in an open area as anyone could walk through.
